Roxanne Davies
Born in Montreal Roxanne is a graduate of Concordia University, where she earned a BA in History and Literature. She comes from a family of immigrants, professionals and entrepreneurs. Her family opened one of Montreal’s first health food stores in 1965. Her first paid job was sorting okra in Florida as 12-year-old. She has worked as a newspaper reporter, art gallery manager, health researcher, adult education program manager and marketing consultant. She loves reading biographies and seems to have found her niche writing memoires. THE BLUE RIVIERA, a Daughter’s Investigation is her fourth book. In 2010 she published a 350-page family story entitled ORCHARDS, CROSSROADS and DREAMS and recently co-authored a book with Super Senior Athlete Olga Kotelko entitled OLGA, The OK Way to a Heathy, Happy Life. In 2019 she helped senior television sports cameraman Michael Varga write his book, INSIDE VIEW The Eye Behind the Lens. Roxanne moved to B.C. in 1990. She lives in North Vancouver with her husband. She has two grown children and one grandson.
